The drinks we offer are loving nod to the Saint Louis we celebrate daily: creative, fresh and bold. Reflecting our broad and diverse customer base, we offer a large selection of specialty liquors from all over the world, as well as popularly-priced rails. Rooted in the belief that each drink is made better by using the finest ingredients, including fresh herbs from our garden and hand-squeezed juices, the Royale offers something for every mood, taste and season. Some drinks are the whimsical creations of our own staff. Others are time-tested classics, known the world ’round. Feel confident in knowing that every drink going out from our bar is crafted by hand, by those who take the fine art of mixology seriously. the subcontinental $7

Bombay Saphire, fresh cucumber juice, lime juice, a pinch of sugar, a dash of Cointreau. Served up or on the rocks. The perfect postcolonial potable. The unmistakable presence of cucumber marries with gin and lime. On the rocks, a verdant summer cooler; served up, an emerald testament to taste itself.

the baden gimlet $7

Tanqueray, fresh lime juice, the barest hint of sugar. Served up with a sugared rim.

An astringent gimlet that takes a pass on sweetened lime juice in favor of the real thing. A cooling, tart wake-up call.

Vodka, lemon juice, triple sec and club soda with a sugared rim.

Think gin’s a sin? Try this citrus-infused vodka highball, invented expressly for those who can’t stand gin and won’t touch tonic.

Bombay Sapphire, fresh lemon juice, sugar, dash of vanilla, club soda. A Tom Collins modified with vanilla for smoothness.

the T.R. $7

Tanqueray, Schweppe’s Bitter Lemon, garnished with lime and served on the rocks.

God bless the unparalleled hue and cry of Schweppes’ tangy Bitter Lemon. As full of citrus and juniper as the T.R. is, you by all rights ought to have been in a sweat before being allowed to partake in this holy admixture, preferably due to struggling at a racquet sport.

Jack Daniel’s whiskey, fresh lemon juice, fresh lime juice, sugar, served on the rocks with a cherry.

Our signature whiskey sour, filled with fresh lime and lemon. Tanqueray, fresh orange and grapefruit juice. Juniper and citrus.

Bathtub gin, a healthy dose of Noilly Prat dry vermouth, served up with an olive and a lemon-accented rim.

The martini made according to FDR’s specifications. Stalin apparently called it very good, “but cold on the stomach.”

Stolichnaya Orange, cranberry juice, a squeeze of lime. Known back east as the Cape Cod, our style gets casual with orange-infused vodka.

The recipe dates to before Prohibition, and comes to us by way of the illustrious Tom Bullock, a well-traveled St. Louis barman. Strong with a drop of sweetness, this whiskey union is the dewy essence of a Southern afternoon.

Distilled from anise seed and grapes, Arak is the national drink of Lebanon. At St. Raymond’s they say: “Bettah than ouzo.”

Pinnacle vodka, Disarrono Amaretto, twist of lemon.

OK, almonds, not walnuts, but nutty just the same: a sweet play on the vodka martini.

Maker’s Mark, fresh mint, crushed ice, and Tim’s mint syrup, stirred and served ice cold.

Bacardi rum, muddled mint and lime, a pinch of sugar and club soda.

The refreshingly crisp mixture of mint and green tea, mingles with pineapple, making this the perfect beverage to contemplate the state of the world.
